Second Partners’ Meeting in Madrid, October 2024

The second partners’ meeting took place in Madrid on Monday, October 14, 2024, hosted by the Matadero team.

Luisa Espino, along with Roberto Vidal and Isabel Galán, represented Matadero and gave an in-depth presentation of their residential centre. The partners then shifted focus to key project elements, including administrative matters, the concept behind the workshop cycle, and the manual and the final event. A key moment was an online presentation by curator Alex Alonso, who elaborated on the vision for the workshop cycle.

In the afternoon, the partners participated in an informal session where they shared insights about their residency spaces with Matadero's current residents. The meeting concluded with a visit to CAR - Centro de Acercamiento a lo Rural, followed by a conversation with the Paisanaje art and research collective, exploring their work and perspectives.
