SAiR reaches its conclusion in Athens, hosted by Snehta Residency. The public event Fragments. A Salon of Curiosities will gather material and immaterial traces, sketches, notes, small-scale works, and sculptural gestures created during residencies in Ljubljana, Madrid, Prague, and Athens. The opening on 29th of November 2025, at 19.00.

The exhibition Natura morta by Small But Dangers in Ljubkjana is the duo’s largest to date and marks 21 years of their artistic collaboration. It is full of small things, old and new works, presented to the public for the first time.

The pop up exhibition Soil and Silence, openinig on 11th of November 2025, gives the viewers just an insight into Adrianna Szojda’s and Olga Staňková’s work after their interaction with the Athenian cityscape and the Greek mentality, history and culture.

Rituals for New Futures is an art project exploring the transformative power of ritual in shaping political and ecological realities. The third chapter will be presented at MGLC Švicarija, on October 29, 2025.

Maria Nikiforaki is a visual artist working in the intersection of performance art, film and dance. Maria will be in residence in Ljubljana from September 15 to October 31, 2025. In MGLC Švicarija she will create the third chapter for her Heroine of the project Rituals for New Futures.

During her residency at Matadero Madrid in May and June 2025, Lea Culetto continued her research into the history of hair, this time focusing on a recurring phenomenon: punishment through hair cutting.

The Matadero Madrid hosted a new Open Studio Day on 13-14 June 2025 to showcase the work of its resident artists, including SAiR residents Lenka Kubelová and Lea Culetto.

On June 19 SAiR artist Lea Culetto conducted a workshop related to the artistic production process - fabric manipulation, that she is developing during her stay at Matadero's Center for Artistic Residencies.

The exhibition Combing Through, on view at Škuc Gallery in Ljubljana from 11 April to 6 May 2025, presents Lea Culetto’s latest project in which she explores the socio-cultural significance of hair and hairiness.

The third partners’ meeting took place in Prague on Monday, March 24, 2025, hosted by the MeetFactory team.

On March 25, 2025, the Soirée (open studios) took place at the MeetFactory in Prague, with the particiption of three SAiR artists: Sara García, Small but Dangers and Maria Nikiforaki.

A participatory community event at the edge of and in the forest of Tivoli Park was conceived by artists-in-residence Christina Zampoulaki and Adrianna Szojda.

The exhibition Coniunctio gives the viewers an insight into Lea Culetto’s and Lenka Kubelová’s work after their interaction with the Athenian cityscape and the Greek mentality, history and culture during their residency at Snehta.

Snehta Residency and artist Lenka Kubelová are organising one day workshop in the the context of the SAIR (Sustainability is in the AiR) program. At "Fermenting Stories" workshop we will delve into practices of fermenting.

On 15 November 2024 Snehta prepared open day at their residential venue. Snehta Residency is hosting two SAiR residents: Lenka Kubelová from the Czech Republic and Lea Culleto from Slovenia.

On November 12, 2024, Sara García Fernández, who had been in residence at MGLC Švicarija from September to November, presented a performance “moulding mourning mouths” showcasing the work and ideas she developed during her time there.

On October 24, 2024, the MeetFactory opened its art studios. Amongst the participating artists was also Christina Zampoulaki, the SAiR resident from Greece who presented her project on food waste.
